The Project
A portrait series drawing from the pulpy, saturated world of 1960s and 70s cinema. A moment when film was unafraid to be lurid, lush, and deeply strange. Inspired by Italian giallo, European genre pictures, and the moody chiaroscuro of classic Noir.
These are images about mood and presence. About what a face can hold when the light hits it just right.
